X-Men: First Class doesn’t drop in theaters until June 3rd but we’ll be dropping X-Men loot later this week! That’s right, the X-Men are coming to Mafia Wars with extraordinary loot to heighten your defenses like Magneto and strengthen your attack like Beast!

When you collect all 7 items, you’ll get the mastery item, with 4 levels of mastery, Magneto’s only defense against Professor Xavier’s mental powers. -Mafia Wars Top Secret X-Men Page

LootEdit

Collect X-Men sets: Find X-Men items from jobs and fighting. Collect a set of 7 X-Men items to earn the mastery item, Magneto's Helmet.
Send spare X-Men items: Keep up to 10 of each X-Men item. Share any spares with your mafia.
All Loot apart from Magneto's Helmet is giftable.

BoostsEdit

During the loot event 2 boosts are available to send as Free Gifts. These boosts give extra X-Men loot drop items to help you with event mastery.

Item	Effects
Magneto's Magnetism	+2 extra X-Men fight loot items while event is active
Frost's Diamond Form	+2 extra X-Men job loot items while event is active

Loot LimitEdit

There is a Loot Limit on the X-Men items. You can hold a maximum of 10 items each this is including the 4x items each you need to gain ruby mastery. If you are over 10 items you can gift them to your mafia or post them on your wall.

Oh man... 1 more blackbird, 2 Havoc's chest and 2 Azazel's sword... and with the Crossing the Line mission, it get's rough...sigh*

i may be wrong, but i think there has been a misunderstanding, if one collects 10 sets of each items he gets all four levels of magnetos helmet in his inventory ............ can anyone clarify ?

Tried various jobs in NY, Brazil, italy.. nothing Just spent 3000 energy on job rob a drug runner. Nothig dropped. Job items are NOT dropping for me. So I guess no Magento's Helmet for me...

Like all mastery rewards, successive mastery levels upgrade the item to higher stats. You only ever have 1 of them.

Finally done - for all those that haven't finished. I took the advice of one of the earlier posts. Go to NYC and do the the jobs that require 2 energy. You can finish very quickly (about an 30 minutes after I did that). Thanks again for the other post.

Go to new york. And do the job where it only requires 2 energy. You will get everything in a day. Use a repeat job bookmarklet. Go take a shower and when you come back just collect the helmet.

Does it even drop from fights anymore? I've spent thousands of stamina points on (winning) fights, and not a single drop today.

Just do that job in the Associate New York tier that costs 2 energy, lots of job count and you get the items from it.

Sorry to say but people, stop crying. To collect the mastery item, mouse hover on "Magneto's Helmet" icon in home page and there's a "Collect" button will be appeared if collect is available. Click on it and get the prize

People I don't see the problem with this event on the first day only I got over 25 of the jobs items and i did normal jobs to end brazil and italia... the fights were bit harder to get and till this time i have sent over 40 from each item (jobs) to my mafia... and I only level 700 so the event was the easyest till now to complete... most of the time i loose the extras cause i can find people who need it or add me in time cause after 30 min the extras are gone
