This item replaced the Pit Bull which was to celebrate the upcoming introduction of the Animals category. After a complaint from PETA, the image was changed to one that looked less threatening then replaced by the Silverback Gorilla. Slogan ：Yes, we have no bananas.

In regards to the PIT BULL, PETA has since sent a letter to Zynga founder and CEO Mark Pincus asking him to consider no longer representing animals as weapons.
OK, then instead of representing animals as weapons, why doesn't just represent animals as "animals" ?? Case solved. Bring back the Pit Bull !!!

Yeah, i just had a quick look around surfing about the Pit Bull and what happened to it as it just dissappeared from my inventory for the Gorilla. Comments like Zombies and freaks that play MW were all over the place and that they should ban the game itself and all. Well i got a newsflash for all those people. They should ban you all for been stupid, idiots and ignorant who thing that a game like this is harmfull and if you don't like it, nobody ask you or force you to play it. I don't agree with animal cruelty but you have to realise this is just a game. If you worry about your kids, you should be worring more about their manners and what they whatch on TV every day which let's face it, our world isn't really that innocent as it may some think. Playing the good parent with statements like ban the game isn't solving the problem of an antisocial behaviour. You know who you are, now deal with it.
