Cuba Event Developer Explanation:
Due to player request, we will be re-opening Cuba temporarily for 2 weeks. Many players are disappointed that they no longer have access to Cuba job progress and properties, so we wanted to attempt a temporary re-opening through a limited time event to see how players enjoy it.
During this time users will have access to Cuba with new added loot drops. Their job progress will be the same as when they left it. Additionally, for those players who already finished Cuba, we are releasing a Ruby tier of Job Mastery. We are very aware of the dedication players have put into finishing Cuba, so we wanted to make sure everyone has something to tackle in the re-opening, along with high end loot drops and new mastery items for completing Ruby Tiers.

As an extra during this event, the Old Cannon (110 75 185) also drops from Jobs and Fights (with a limit of 10/day). You can also master jobs until Ruby Mastery.
Due to an issue in the game, some players will see in the Castle section, "Rob 8 Mega Casinos", while others will see, "Rob 8 Bribery Rings'. Either way, all players will still get the same rewards.

On Steal The Words, my ice count stays at zero, so i cant claim the last prize. anyone else like this too? I have iced at least 100, and it still says zero.
@anonyomous wiki contributor who can't see the missions .. try removing mafia wars and then re installing it again from the settings of ur account thats the advice i got when my previous limited time mission" Dead man talking" did not show up for me too either i got all other missions but not the limited time mission i contacted zynga supprt they gave me this suggestion.. but the mission was over before they took time to reply, and i saw that mail :( when i replied back they told cooly that more missions will come and to remove and re install now.. thankfully after mission another stupid mission i got all other missions after that..
Stupidest comment I have ever read. Why should every other city stay? I am maxed out with every kind of city loot and for what fighting? I am also maxed out with fight loot.
where are the missions located? dont see them anywhere.
are they moved from the usual location? I can see brazil mission and the family mission but not the cuba mission. anyone have an idea about this?
Urgh another backpack request mission coming up, gonna have to beg people to click on that again. yay. And for the last mission; TWENTY ices?!? you cant stay alive in cuba for 20 seconds without being iced so how are we supposed to stay alive to get 20 ices?
Dont worry guys, ive finished it with about 3 hours to spare, i only got iced five times :P (good luck to everyone else) and thanks for your advise people but im more into missions than fighting so i dont use skill points for defence or health, the only time points are added to those is when i build things which give me points for those :] D.
No idea if I can finish. These backpack posts are killing me, I only got 5/9 on that first quest...why'd they give us so much less time, I mean cubas open for another week after this closes...
DUDES JUST COLLECT THEM FROM YOUR BRIBERY RING PROPERTY! if your bribery ring is level 7 or over you will collect 10+ each collect so it will automatically complete that part of the mission -D-
Ah perfect! Thanks for the tip I swear this is a simple bug really I wasted like 400 stamina robbing only for it to go back to zero and so many wasted free gifts
anyone else not getting the mission to work?? i am finding the items (canole, etc) when doing jobs etc, but they are not showing up on the mission tab. stupid zynga, always a problem with it. not sure why i bother. and why so many mercenaries needed? i'll never get the jobs finished this way. one job needs 8 each time you click, with 3% mastery that's 34 clicks = 272 mercs for one job. idiots obviously never thought this one through...
Smokers were dropping from my jobs. You have to get them from whatever activity the mission says. If anoles drop from fights they count, but if they drop from jobs they don't.
If you are a lower level with low energy it can be difficult or impossible to gather enough Cuban Mercenaries to complete all of the jobs within the time allowed. They should have allowed you to loot them from fights or make the Merc gift 2 x Cuban Mercenaries instead of just one. I finished up all of the ruby tiers in a few hours by just working my way through all of the jobs until the only jobs left to complete were jobs that required Cuban Mercenaries. Then continually repeated "Help The FRG Steal A Truckload Of Weapons" under the "El Jefe" tier, and heading over to the unfinished jobs for a bit every 15,000 energy or so. It must have taken something like 150,000 energy on that one job to find enough "Cuban Mercenaries" to finish all of the jobs that require them.
the ruby tier is meant for players that benefited from cuba when the mastery loot was good. aka players that have been playing for a year and a half or more... actually more like 2 i forget how long ive been playing this game... but yeah its not meant for newer players im happy zygna is releasing events like this that only long time players can do
I've only been playing for six months, this is the first time I've been able to go to Cuba, and I already finished all 4 tiers of all 6 "regions" and completed all the Cuba collections. The energy costs were extremely low, and there was almost no cash grinding required. Gathering Cuban Mercenaries was a bit annoying, but not too bad. Now I'm just grinding away at the lowest-energy job to try to get as many of the limited-time items as I can.
I was wondering the same thing. Just prior to the mission there was a loot table and I found it very helpful and now it's gone. I have looked to see if I could find it somewhere else but it looks like someone decided to remove it. ;-(
im in the 3rd mission after i get 11 more help tomorrow i can do the rest
Collect from your Bodega 3 times. (You can collect from Bodega every 8 hours)
Build 1 Vehicle.
Acquire 15 Cuban Mercenaries.
this is my next target which is easy i know what job i can loot those mercenaries and building the car will happen in my chop shop and bodega maybe done in 3 days
then the last 2 castle and steal the worlds which 2 or 3 wars in a row wont be too hard
Help The FRG Steal A Truckload Of Weapons (El Jefe) is where u get the chance to loot the cuban mercenary, you need these for El Cacique - 2 jobs in this level require them (1) Help Get An Associate A No Bid Contract and (2) Meet With "The Russian" i don't know how many you need to fully master the jobs though....
if you're on ruby level mastery like me then you need a whopping 306 cuban mercenaries (34 * 8) + (34 * 1) - 3% mastery per job completion to master El Jefe.... looting these takes a fair few clicks but long-time players with stacks of energy should burn this country up in a couple of days, if not a couple of hours if you're a serious (13,000+) energy player - me ? i'm a robber !!!
i just hope my cuba will be done in 1-2 days.. will be easy for ones with lots of energy points.. While i am writing here i have jst started half an hour ago and already finished 2 tiers of it and 3rd one is 50% done.. :))))))) cheers people.... have fun with the new achievement..
With 3% mastery and the low energy requirements. This will be a good way to rack up skill points and some good items. Upgrade to bribery ring if you haven't already to get Cuban mercenaries.
