Mumbai is the fourth Challenge Mission available. The aim is to complete 4 jobs from each chapter and advance to the next chapter. The Mumbai preview was released on August 20, 2010. You are required to get one more Mafia member to enter. The first stage was unlocked on August 22, 2010. Prior to that date, players need to obtain Bollywood Film Reels to help complete the missions.

You need to add 1 Mafia Member to enter Mumbai. After that you can add 2 more Mafia Members each chapter to get extra Bollywood Film Reel. For each added Mafia Member you receive 5 Bollywood Film Reels.

Job Heat Meter

Each time you do a job, you'll increase the job heat meter. The higher the heat the more Bollywood Film Reel you'll need to use for each job. Every 8 hours the job heat meter resets. The job heat meter turns orange after six and after five more it turns red. If you do a job while the job meter is still orange (and hasn't reset yet) the time will reset back to 8 hours.

Your calculations are incorrect for Ch2 Job 3 and 4. Your minimum required consumables say 60 and 100 respectively but they should be 40 ((100/5=20)*2=40) and 75 ((100/4=25)*3=75)

I didn't even have planned on this mission. Even at 9/11 of energy requirements listed above, I would not have enough energy to do Enjoy Your Rival's Arrest(72 each x 6 = 432)

It's a foul play by Zynga...they extended time to all other challenge missions..guess they must have extended this one too..im sure like me lot others would have failed to complete the last stage set of jobs...Zynga this is total unfair move from ur side..

I just went over the previous challenge missions and the South Africa one had the best loot. Now, I know what people have been saying that with the exception of the slumdog billionaire the loot for this challenge is crap! Here's hoping that the next challenge event will be much better.

Dude, you are a liar. There is a limit on how many gifts you can accept in a day. I have not kept track, but it's something like around 50-100 gifts.

Hmm, that explains why I can no longer accept gifts. I was cleaning out my gift request list and had accepted over 150 - 175 reels (don't ask, but I wanted to post a pic of my having over 1,000 reels inorder to win a prize). For the longest time I cannot accept anymore gifts. I talked to Zynga and they said that they are working on solving the problem. Another problem I had was that the daily chance would not appear for a few days.

Anyone know how I can quickly accept the reels friends sent me. I have been stuck at 97 mafia wars gift requests for the past hour. I'm tired of clicking all of these. I would ignore them since I don't need them, but I want to post a pic showing my total of 1,000+ reels.

San Juan rewards are fucked up..At least Beat the Feds items were much stronger...San Juan sucks though i have completed it..it's a total time waster..Instead Zynga can focus on releasing next 2 districts in Vegas or come up with another attractive city where folks will be mesmerized...

I can see how the Mumbai challenge can be viewed as tedious and not worthwhile. But for Mafia Wars players like myself who have not played this game long enough to amass awesome stats like 6,000 attack, 6,000 defense and 6,000 stamina these Challenge missions is the only way I can get valuable loot. I must admit that after 5 years of playing (5 years from now ) and I have amassed 2,000-8,000 points for attack, defense and stamina that I might also find these challenge missions very stupid! But I am not there yet so I will embrace every challenge mission that comes my way. That's my 2 cents. If I offend anyone by my comments please forgive me. I don't mean to disrespect anyone who spends all their time and money playing Mafia Wars.

I finished the job about 30 hours ago. I still have over 300 reels. Anyone know how I can trade them for other consumables? If not at least tell me how I can send them to my mafia members. Some have only about 100 reels.

Did they just add 12 hours to it? I was going to get up at 7am to do the job 3 times tomorrow and once sat to finish, but now it looks like I have more time?
Just beat Big Lou for the Gold no RP, and got the late late start on San Juan, but messed up missing 2 days of collecting reels....

Plowed through the last job, ignoring the job-heat meter, and finished with about 42 hours and 12 reels to spare. A nice desert after beating Big Lou in San Juan for Gold and not using any reward points

1 day and 24 hours is plenty of time. I did the job 8 times for every 8 hours and the last one I did 9 jobs. 8+8+9=25.

It's not hard. They actually factor in an extra day for you and the reels. Well I was so worried that I did not get enough reels that I asked for over 30 reels each day. Besides, the reels that we collect from the challenge you will have plenty of reels to spare. I have about 250 reels left. What stopped me from burning through the thing in one sitting was the massive energy cost.

I skipped two days of playing and I still finished early. Follow this rule. 6 and 2. That is 6 in the green and 2 in the red. This way it won't cost you much energy and reels. Oh and if you are going to max out do it in the early tasks...they uses less energy and reels. I wanted to finish early because I am very impatient. I also hate to log on every 8 hours....if I wanted to do that I would be playing FarmVille.

4 days and i'm half-way done with the second mission in chapter 3.
-sigh- now i just hope that i'll be able to complete the last few missions given the fact that they consume 50 energy each and i only do missions while they're in the green range.
