Limited Time Job is a new feature where there was supposed to be a special job once a week that you could do once every 24 hours. Upon mastery, you will get a special loot drop. The first was the Rob a Candy Truck job from the Halloween 2009 Loot Event, and the second is the Raid the Docks job from Big Apple Week, which started November 15, 2009.
Rob a Candy Truck was a Limited Time Job during the Halloween 2009 Loot Event. This was the first Limited Time Job released and was available from October 30, 2009 to November 4, 2009. It could only be completed once a day, but upon mastering this job, it could be done repeatedly, allowing the gain of 1 more Halloween Candy Truck every 24 hours. A glitch when this job first became available allowed it to be completed multiple times a day. The experience gained from this job varied depending on the player's level (to as little as 2, yielding 4 experience), but 200 and 100 were the max Experience and Energy gained and needed.
Raid the Docks was a Limited Time Job during the Big Apple Week Loot Event. This was the second Limited Time Job released and was available from November 15, 2009 to November 22, 2009. When it was first launched, the job could only be completed once a day, the experience gained from this job varied depending on the player's level (to as little as 2, yielding 4 experience up to a maximum of 100 energy and yielding 200 experience). 30 Consumables are looted each time the job is done. The mastery bar progress by 25% each time the job is done.
However, since the night of November 16th, the job could be completed every 8 hours. The maximum energy and experience has been reduced to 60 energy and 120 experience respectively. Only 15 Consumables are looted each time the job is done. The mastery bar progresses by only 15% each time the job is done.
Each stage, however, still require 25% to complete.
