I was wondering how long these cross-promo items will last.
And to answer the questions below, for 2-3 days, giant octopuses (octopodes, octopi) were accidentally tagged as the gift received for clicking on certain links (such as zoo rewards). Mafia Wars would normally let such things slide, but they (and I) have an issue with the dipshits who use automatic gift-grabber programs. In other words, the lady with 484 octopuses got them from a grab-program, not from playing the game. Mafia Wars corrected this by making those gift-octopuses into non-usable items. Right now, those people can look at their hundreds of octopuses and other "accidental" posting gifts (most notably the patriot vehicle), but the items do not count in the game.

It is available as cross promotion cafe world, Buil them in properties (animals). They are not appear in my inventory (I can't see it in the I not own option)

Just hit a person that had 484 of them needless to say I lost she was a level 406 and had a 135000 defense. WOW

They have also vanished for me along with 100s of att/def points :(

This have been removed in game,i had it befor and now i cant see it,they also removed another's thing what i collect in property's

they still show up in fights, but not the inventory

My friend got 300+ each of Giant Octopus and Big Horn Sheep, I got only 24 and 42 of each.

this was a glitch was only available for a little bit before zynga fixed it. this dropped and about 5 other ones when you clicked on the "upgraded" spam notice for the zoo.

I got this as a bonus when I got a reward for someone upgrading their zoo. Thank God it wasn't a Fox!!!!!
