Dublin is the fifth Challenge Mission available. The aim is to complete the 4 jobs from each chapter and advance to the next. The Dublin preview was released September 17, 2010. Unlike previous challenge missions youre not required to get one more Mafia member to enter. The first stage was unlocked on September 19, 2010. Prior to that date, players need to obtain Pints of Stout to help complete the missions.


Dublin offers a world of maximum opportunity, maximum entertainment and maximum crime.The green hills of Ireland are deceiving, as not even the Emerald Isle can escape from the world of crime. Destroy your rivals and become the real power broker in Dublin.

BackgroundEdit

During Chapter 1 you can collect 20 Pint of Stouts every 24 hours. During Chapter 2 they were changed to 30 Pint of Stouts. During Chapter 3 you can collect 40 Pint of Stouts

My Crew

To enter Dublin you don't have to add an extra Mafia Member like the other Challenge Missions . After that you can add 2 more Mafia Members each chapter to get extra Pint of Stout. For each added Mafia Member you receive 5 Pints of Stout.

Job Heat Meter

Each time you do a job, you'll increase the job heat meter. The higher the heat the more Pints of Stout you'll need to use for each job. Every 8 hours the job heat meter resets. The job heat meter turns orange after 6, and after 5 more it turns red. If you do a job while the job meter hasn't reset yet, the time will reset back to 8 hours.

4x Loot

Dublin was introduced with 4x loot. I.e. each job gives you the Mastery Reward (of the corresponding chapter). You'll have 4 Irish Travelers, 4 Black Irishs and 4 Dreacht Capalls at the end of the Challenge Mission.

Here are four reasons to head to Dublin for the latest Challenge Mission. Quadruple. The. Loot. You read that right. We're giving away FOUR times the rewards in Challenge Mission: Dublin.

If you haven't started already, travel to Dublin where your mission is to rob the National Bank of Ireland. We've changed the reward system so that you receive a ridiculously sweet reward for each job you complete. In past Challenge Missions, you were required to finish all jobs in a chapter to earn a reward. Now you'll get a chapter reward for each job you complete. So if you finish all FOUR jobs in Chapter 3, you'll get FOUR powerful Dréacht Capall (pictured left). Oh snap! Chapter 1 reward: Irish Traveler armor (Attack 52, Defense 63) Chapter 2 reward: Black Irish weapon (Attack 84, Defense 59) Chapter 3 reward: Dréacht Capall animal (Attack 67, Defense 111)

You have roughly two weeks left to finish all the jobs in the Challenge Mission. You'll need to to collect enough Pints of Stout to complete your Dublin jobs. Get Pints of Stout from robbing, fighting, doing jobs, and sending requests to your mafia. You'll need a lot of Pints to master the Challenge Mission, so drink up and head to Dublin.

    The same with me late hours last night i was on 48% with the job meter on full so was spending 72 energy a pop then still couldnt finish as i ran out of Pints/Energy :S

    I just finished the Dublin challenge and I did not get full mastery on the 3 loot items. In fact, I got no mastery at all. Why is it that everyone else have been claiming that they got it when in fact it was not possible at all? Are the people who got full mastery using cheats or something?

    As I have said at the beginning of this challenge mission I did not think that there was any "mastery" but many of you kept insisting that as you collect more of the traveler, gun and horse that their stats will increase. They did not increase after collecting all 4. I then wondered if maybe finishing all three chapters will yield an increase in their stats. It did not happen. Of course some of you actually were smart like me and realized that if the loot in this challenge was "masterable" then they would have a star next to their picture. The most recent "masterable" loot were the piggies for the Oinker Truck.

    To those of you who doubted my words and condemned me for speaking my mind... 

    "I told you so!".    But that's probably because you guys thought more highly of Zynga than I do...but that's a good thing. I'm more of a realist and I know how Zynga "operates."

    This challenge mission was useless in that there was no need to complete all 4 jobs from the third chapter. I only need one horse....hmmm I wonder if Zynga will make it so that the next boss event will not yield masterable loot...that would be interesting...why fight all the bosses at gold level when the best loot you can get is at bronze. Lol....don't laugh Zynga will probably do it. Who would have thought that Zynga would roll out a boring and repetitive Dublin mission.

    Those of you who suggested that the loot for this mission was masterable are on the right track. Making the loot masterable for challenge missions will make it less boring. Tell Zynga that they should do it....who knows they might give you something for the good idea.

    In reference to the guy before who said that Dublin was the best challenge mission ever must be a little nuts because I found this challenge very boring. I would rather have 12 different loot items then have 4 of one item. Who's with me?

    The guy who said that he got a vehicle as a reward for completing all three chapters could be joking since I did not receive it. But then again after completing the final job in the third chapter I only got this message.

    This message led me to think that there must be a 4th chapter which I cannot find.

    At least when I finished the Mumbai challenge I got something that acknowledged that I finished all three chapters.

    I look forward to reading comments from more people as they finish this much anticipated challenge. I bet that more than 70% here will say that it was "unsatisfying".

      Weather you would rather have 12 different items or 4 each of 3 is personal preference. Those who like to build their equipment stats will most certainly like 4 x Dreacht Capall instead of 1, due to the simple fact that all 4 will make it into their top 501 items.

      I believe the aim of this 'extra loot' from Zynga would have been more to do with keeping lower level users happy, in that they can get some loot even if they don't have the resources to complete the entire mission. If you knew you could not complete all of chapter 3 and get the loot item then you wouldn't do any of chapter 3 at all, but if you can get something for each job you do manage then i am sure that is incentive to do some of it.

      After all Zynga WANT you to spend as much resources on these as possible, because the more you put into limited missions the longer it will take you do get through all the permanent content, and thus the longer you will keep playing the game.

      The new secret missions is another way of achieving this.. as well as their other goal which seems to be as much social networking posts as possible because every public post is free advertisement. (personally i have my mafia in a group and any posts i make are restricted to that group... so no new customers through me, sorry Zynga)

    If my first impression of the last job in Chapter 4 is correct there has to be some serious payback for completing the last job. 3% per mastery attempt is very low. But this will be worth it once I collect all 12 items and earn the bonus reward.

    when i got my 7x5=35 pints of stout for adding the crew memmbers, i didnt pay any attention to the cop meter, and before i knew it, im spending 5 p.o.s per click, on the very first job. lol, maybe i should have waited the 8 hrs. fuck it, ive been getting enough to where i'll be done w/ the tier before chapter 2 opens.
