Formosa is a bunch of loosers. How the got there is by attacking mini accounts and real low level players. Same thing with the turkey/thanksgiving event. I wish I had war page address.

what I think is fun, is that everybody though that mafia wars gods would win, I mean when you see those people each of them usually got 1000 of brazil ruby, each of them has usually attack/defense scores high high above average etc....but here, they ended second, wtf? than I looked at the first family and notice the chinese/japanese/no I can't read them signs and I understood, yes asian are the legendary videogame players...(And they have no souls / quote from southpark)

Karmakula ......although I appreciate ur reply and sentiment, I think that you're missing my point... if there is "research" backed by fact, that apparently, you think I've missed, please share it. I had a great time playing with my family and made alot of new friends... we worked really hard and at the very end we were able to pull it off... i still hold steadfast to my thoughts on double standards. Again, thanks for the reply.

My family worked really hard to complete this mission... just seems like a double-standard exists here. Why was a bot allowed to play, first of all, and and second, why was it allowed to be one of the top winners?... seems like we are all under the scrutiny of Zynga/FB, yet there are exceptions ...why?

If you are referring to {ASS} you may want to do a little research first. I enjoyed the event even if i only ended up joining a small family with many sub-1000 level players that were not well geared for the event. It was hard work and we did not get ruby mastery, but i am perfectly fine with that i just wanted to participate.

I wonder what reward family's that finished 4th to 10th received as it looks like 1st, 2nd and 3rd were the ones to receive the 2 headed snake.

Well it's all over, very much enjoyed the event.
Pre event fights lost 47k, post event fights lost 94k lol.

the Mafia Wars family jumped up over 200k ices within a few hours and overtook the ASS family... seems sus to me

It was not quite that quick, i watched them get closer and closer to ass then overtake and keep rising. It is likely a combination of a few things, ASS member possibly slowing down a bit as it is probably accepted that they are as high as they are going to get, and the fact that half way through this event Mafia Wars Gods family was only half full (a partial family list scan that was being done at that time showed only 50 odd members in the family) and they probably added more people. MwG is a large family with several in-game families and many of them are big fighters. (a number of MwG actually jumped over to ASS at the start of the event... it's possible some jumped back as well)
I was hoping to see one of the top families hit 1million ices for the event but time wont allow it.

we ({ASS}) had several clans attacking us 24/7 to keep us from getting 1st place again. Clans that were asked by Mafia Wars Gods and formos to attack us (like AMEX). Then when MwG recuited more (to get a full clan) they got up faster after that some player from left to join MwG because they only cared about getting the 1st place unlike we in {ASS} play for fun and dont care if we're in the top 10 or top 50 or whatever. All by all we were hated and sabotaged (Mafia Wars Maniac blog post) by other clans to show we're evil hackers and what not.

The members of {ASS} have been attacked by hundreds/thousands? of mw players that have been spurred on by the lies and exaggerations of AMEX on their We <3 ASS (originally named We Hate ASS) facebook page. AMEX has been caught in many lies and exaggerations, even going so low as to being caught photoshopping screenshots to get players who have spock links all over their walls to attack {ASS} -- i have seen it first hand. During it all, the members of {ASS} did not stoop to this low level and still tried their best. We can all hold our heads up high. AMEX and the other top clans and individual players who orchestrated this "witch hunt" have completely disgraced themselves with their actions. As for MwG, they themselves made a pact with AMEX to help them to win. It backfired. I AM GLAD. Congratulations FORMOSA.

I know its a mafia game and all, but the dirty tricks and bs is all so low. Massive bragging rights to those that get the ruby top family item, but I personally would not feel deserving if I had left my integrity at the door. (i remember seeing the slander and bs start literally when the first application call went public).
It is a shame too because some of the players in those clans have incredible ice stats (500,000+ personal ices is massive)

You can't join it, they already have 100 members, loser family that it is, all use the assassin-a-nator script just so they can win a event, which they aren't,lol.

They don't all use the script. The name is because the family is run by the same people that created the script (although i'm sure many do use it).
Part of the success of a number of the top icing families is that many big time fights have large collections of rival lists that they can use... knowing they will win and knowing the rival has low health and often heals (making a higher fight:ice ratio).

i dont use the assassin-a-nator script and im in {ASS}, actually 90% don't even use the script so dont judge before you know the real background

Need a new family to join. Who i'm with at the min is only on silver mastery and dont seem to be icing very fast. Need to average 200 an hr to get ruby so its not looking good at the min. Anyone closer that I can join? I would rather put the effort in somewhere that its appreciated rather then carrying all the slackers. Thanks

oh who cares if formosa or ass clan are ranked 1st .That two headed snake loot is also a piece of shit(175/175) it will also become trash in the future.Its better to ruby master ma than just being 1st in the family.and the worst about that is people will rally against your family if you are known as the top clan

During the recent release of the Death By Ice event it was discovered that the counter was not displaying the number of ices correctly.This was a display issue only, and all ices that players were winning were being counted for both the player and their Family. The display error has now been resolved. In order to repair the issue it was necessary to restart the counter at zero. Don't be alarmed though, because all of your ices are still recorded on your account, but the updated counter display will only show the ices that you have after the point in which it was updated. Typical of Zynga to screw up yet again...

look for your picture under the list of all of the names of your family and look to the far left of your picture and there'll be a small red x click it tada it took me an hour to find this out just sparring the trouble to others

{ASS} are rocking it, 50k in a day.

They all use the Assassin-A-Nator script is why, they were formed just for that purpose.

They formed for the event, not all use the script. But it was formed by the Spockholm/MWLL admin. I applied but my stamina didn't quite cut it :) But that's okay my 300-500 ices a day are going to a family that will actually benefit from it.
