Ready to Crack the Safe in Mafia Wars? This new challenge is easier than you think. All you have to do to get your mastery reward is complete the following steps on the progress meter:

1) Have the game installed

2) 'Like' Mafia Wars on Facebook

3) Grow your Mafia by getting 5 new friends to help

4) Allow Mafia Wars to publish to your news stream

Once you complete all the steps, your safe will be cracked open and you'll get the awesome mystery item inside!

Don't worry if you are unable to crack your safe before then, however, as we promise to find other ways for you to obtain the valuable items currently hidden behind the vault doors. We can't promise when that will happen, though, so, if you don't want to wait, now's the time to get crackin'!	”

this was a great feature, i cracked the safe the maximum amount of times within a few weeks and it got my mafia 10,000 plus equipment points in a matter of weeks

yo turdlsland u shouldnt stop adding friends when a pink warning box pops up. it will get u blocked if u continues. try to log off. then log back in and adding more friends as many as possible till the warning box popped up, do it over n over.

when I add up all my items including the 1 warp speed I get 101. Is it really part of this event?

now that I look at when the page for the warp speed was added I doubt that it was part of this event.

the warp speed was added in january when crack the safe came out, you needed to complete it once and couldnt redo it, now they added the other 5 items that you can do up to 100 times so if you did this 100 times and got the warp speed you actually did it 101 times

You are right, the person below is wrong. There is no limit. You can do it till Zynga stops it. You can have 5001 mafia, you only use the 501 strongest in this game, so, it is killing me that I have been playing for 2 years and newbies can be stronger than I am in a short time, it sucks and Zynga is going to Loose a ton of money, because items are becoming obsolete so fast, who would bother buying them. Old time players and Zynga are loosing out, go figure !

Seriously, I feel sorry for the people who actually spend money on this game.....every couple of months Zinga coughs up some new items that make the old ones people bought useless. The way things are progressing, in a year the items will be at least 300/300, and that's the items you will be able to buy with RP. Sad.....

ur right about the money its better to strategize and get good items from the game like these, rather than buying weak godfather items. If ur going to spend on the game boost ur skills and let the loot come to u through fighting robbing and games

ya count all the loot that drop from ur safe n subtract that from 100 , the no. u get is the no. of loots u can still av (or no. of safes u can still crack)
