OverviewEdit

In order to unlock The Raven you need to Ice opponents on the fight list. After enough Ices he will show up in the fight list.
Once he appears in the fight list you have 8 hours to defeat him before he goes back into hiding for 3 days.
The 8 hour timer starts as soon as he appears in the fight list, the timer does not wait for you to click attack.
Since you can trigger this fight multiple times, you can possess multiple mastery items.
Consumables for this event only drop while you have an active boss fight. You are unable to stockpile them between fights even though the event is still active.
Shotgun Blasts are not used for The Raven boss fights, instead you need to collect Sniper Shots that drop randomly from Icing opponents.

Note: There are 6 different red combos to fight the Assassin. This means that the red combo that works for you may not be the same for your friends. So far only one has been confirmed by players, but we will endeavor to provide all 6 as the others are discovered.

"Requiescat in Pace" is Latin for "He/she/it may rest in Peace", notably used by the character Ezio in the Assassin's Creed videogames.

Requiescat in Pace Centesimus: This achievement has now been removed. If you already have it, you will get to keep it.

Q: How do I find the Assassin?
A: Ice opponents from the fight list. The Assassin is almost always in stealth mode, so be patient and keep icing. When you pick up his trail, a banner will appear on the fight page notifying you that you are close. Keep icing.

Q: How do I fight the Assassin?
A: Once you pick up the Assassin’s trail, Ammo to fight the Assassin will start to drop from jobs, fights, robbing, and icing.

Q: Are the Ammos (consumables) the same as other boss fights?
A: A new Ammo, Sniper Shots, will drop from icing. Sniper shots replace the shotgun blasts for that you use in other boss fights for Assassin fights only.

The other ammos remain the same. Knife slashes, knuckle punches, and crack of the bat will drop from jobs, fights, and robbing, respectively.

Q: How long does it take to find the Assassin?
A: Finding the Assassin is extremely difficult because he’s stealthy. You’ll need to ice many players to hunt him down and it may take days. There is no time limit to find him.

Q: How will I know when I find the Assassin?
A: Once you have tracked down the Assassin, he will appear in the fight list, on the homepage banner, and on the operations page.

Q: How long do I have to fight the Assassin?
A: Once he appears on the fight list, you have 8 hours to kill him. During this 8-hour period, he will not heal.

Q: Do I need stamina to fight the Assassin?
A: No. You will need to use the Ammos – knife slashes, knuckle punches, crack of the bats, and sniper shots to attack the Assassin.

Q: Are there special combos for the Assassin fight?
A: Yes. Use the correct order of four Ammos in a row to unlock special combos. The yellow and green C-C-Combos are the same for all players. However, there are 6 different red combos to fight the Assassin. This means that the red combo that works for you may not the same for your friends.

Q: What do I get for beating the Assassin?
A: Those who defeat the Assassin will receive the ultimate armor Assassin’s Jacket (170 attack, 100 defense).

Q: Can I fight the Assassin again immediately after I beat him?
A: No. There is a three-day waiting period before you can find his trail again and hunt him down.

This boss has always shown up in the fight list, after icing other players. Unfortunately it is currently turned off by Zynga. They claimed because they couldn't figure out a way to have multiple boss fights at the same time yet, but clearly they can (there are 2 family bosses atm). I hope they return this soon as i was still working on the achievement.

Seems he's been showing up a lot more lately. I get maybe 5 ices and he's in the fight list every 3 days. Does it go by total ices or something?

I fight the assassin every other time he shows up so I'm maxed on the 3 ammos to start and have enough sniper shots by then to finish him off quick without spending on them. The times I don't fight him I still pick to fight him so the loot will drop, but I don't attack him. This works for me.

Requiescat in Pace Centesimus: This achievement has now been removed. If you already have it, you will get to keep it. WTF ??? if you are going to make an achievement at least make it obtainable in the first place , or make the weapon drops more common

So just had the Raven up for another 8 hours. Can confirm that I get ZERO more Sniper Shots from icing and killing during that time. Crack of the Bat also seems to be more difficult to get than it used to be. I am now maxed out with 50 of Knuckle Punch and Knife Slash so now just need more of the others - but not holding my breath.

Cost me 30 RP to beat him. Guess it's not too bad considering that they sell loot with lower attack and defense for 35 RP

Just now confirmed with Zynga...the combos dropped can be used for next fight too......Raven won't steal all the combos if we can't defeat him in 8 hours :)

i killed assasin last night. I use the following: - 50 knucle punch - 150 knife slashes This drop his life to about 43000. Then I used RED combo knife slash + sniper + sniper + bat, every combo is about 4000 each. I used 20 sniper shots for this,got his life to 1800. Then i finished him with a Yellow combo and used 1 sniper shots about 2000. So with about 22 sniper shots you can kill him if U get his energy to 4300 with normal items. Better have 24 sniper shots just in case.

we'll it is now confirmed that the drop rate is 3x, i.e., 3x0 = 0.
cos i got the sniper shots only when i found the assasin and a 100 ices later not a single one dropped.

I did 350-400 ices before and got 0, since the update i got 2 so far from around 100 ices. They drop in 2's it seems, so that is really only 1 loot drop, ie < 1% drop rate. But i suppose it's better than the 0 for 350 ices last time.

The 2 that dropped was when the assassin showed up, n they didn't drop anymore.
