The Armory was introduced on September 17, 2010 as the third non-cash generating property in New York / Manhattan. Since then, numerous changes have been made.

On December 4, 2010, Forge Your Destiny introduced five new armor items. Pantheon Tactical Helm and Iron Chest Plate were added on a limited time basis, requiring giftable Tech Plates to build. Welding Mask, Sprinting Shoes and Forearm Guard were added for a longer time.

AboutEdit

The Armory is coming late Thursday and it's dropping a lot of good-looking armor. As Barney Stinson would tell you, it's time to suit up.

The Armory is the newest property that makes awesome stuff for you to increase your fighting power. The Armory will appear next to your Chop Shop and Weapons Depot and churn out everything from plastic leggings to full body armor.

Your Armory functions much like your Chop Shop and Weapons Depot to help you fight stronger. Along with power boosts, you have four types of fighting forces - Weapons, Armor, Vehicles, and Animals.

Your Weapons Depot makes weapons. Your Chop Shop makes Vehicles. And now your Armory builds armor for you to take to battle. (You can currently get Animals by having friends gift them to you.) You can build a new item once a day in these three New York properties.

It's going to take some effort to build a kick-ass Armory. The only way to build an Armory is with construction parts. You can either spend reward points to build it or ask friends to send you parts. Parts will not drop from doing jobs or fighting rivals the way the Chop Shop and Weapons Depot do. The Armory has fifteen levels and makes more powerful armor each time you upgrade a level.

Did anyone notice that the chop shop, weapons depot, armory and private zoo's final few items all could get a star rating for higher stats?

the current best item to build at the armory is stout sholders because they have the highest stats of ANYTHING from ur ny properties and ur getting more attack skill points than u can get from anything else in the armory

Yes, It has the best combined stats of all items you can build at NY properties or Italian port , heck It's even better than swiss guard, armatura ramarro, and slightly better combined stats than tundra commandos..

Now that we have the new inventory feature, how do I go about purchasing all the weapons, armor, vehicles and animals I used to be able to do from monies I get from my properties? With the exception of Port in Italy, there's really no other place to spend this money on this stuff ... is there?

if you purchase items on the marketplace more often, zynga will much kinder to you and drop items on you favor most of the time, as what i have observed, before i only got crappy stuff, but now things are a somewhat better

Its all random. I find that if you do it the same time of day you get those same items. So maybe switch it up as to when you get it?

@ windrazor not really..... i always claim all of my 3 in the same time... all just random... but seems that some of them are rare and some are not... as i noticed in the common list the viking helmet and the half dollar body armor were the rarest of all.... the Camouflage Body Armor wasnt :)

I'm collecting all the items as well, and I don't believe I've seen the Viking Helmet as of yet either. But I'm sure that since someone added it here, that it is in there somewhere. I think I have most of the items now, just missing the Galea, Pair of Trekker Boots, Pair of Optiks, Trip Wire Bomb, Viking Helmet, Half Dollar Body Armor, and the City Inspector's Uniform.

I need some convincing in upgrading my armory. I'm currently at level 2. But I have upgraded my chop shop to get the Mugata and the depot to level 14 to get the Stun Knuckles. Is it worth it to upgrade to level 8 to get the Full Body Armor? My attack strength is at 46, but I want to increase it by building stuff. But I don't see it worthwhile to make an item that gives me only 1 attack point. Thanks for your help. :

It seems that unless you are able to churn close to 30 special parts each day in order to make something from the depot and shop, building the body armor will help. But as you have mentioned the payoff is not anything to be excited about. I would just hold off on the armory and wait until you can "Breed" animals. They are coming in November. One of the great things about the Italy addition is that when you fight the bosses you can increase your attack strength by "mastering" your animal. It's like the more you build it the bigger, meaner and more powerful it gets.
